3 Steps to Neutralize Fear and Maximize the Joy in Your Life
Introduction
Neutralizing the fear that lives within you is not always easy. Self-awareness is really a prerequisite to this work because until you dig into yourself and learn how you think, feel and where you need to improve you might not be ready to drill down into issues such as how you think and fear. Sometimes, a full picture is needed in order to get an accurate accounting of where you are in life. Fear is one of those things that can be very obvious or it can sneak up on you. Many might not even realize the root of a problem is fear itself. We are all different and what moves us is different. Creating a strategic action plan for your fear will really help you cope with it in a healthier way.
Creating more joyful living while putting fear in check allows us to thrive in any situation. There will always be fear, the goal is to acknowledge it, diffuse it and keep swimming. Practicing gratitude in ways like meditation and journaling can be a great part of your plan. Keeping a gratitude list could help you and be part of your plan. It can remind you of what you have, where you have been and serve as proof that you can get through anything. I hope this episode will serve as a reminder that finding joy is also a practice to engage in regularly. There will be days when you need to look for it and days when it will overflow from you. The goal is to know that it’s an inside job ad that you must participate in your own joy daily. Keep the self-communication open and flowing.
