Environmental Wellness, Lessons and Accountability with Sherry Bougard
Intro
We all need help from time to time. Doctors need doctors, nurses need nurses and social workers need social workers. Sometimes, being trained in a certain field doesn’t mean that you can always recognize when you need help yourself. Realizing and admitting that you are in need is the first step to making things better. As a social worker and a victim of domestic violence, Sherry realized the need for people to not only unlearn learned behaviors, but also to live in an environment that is healthy and allows for growth, healing and change to occur.
Of the many men and women Sherry works with, her message is the same. You can do a new thing and change the trajectory of your life. By staying accountable for your own actions you can increase the self-awareness needed to continue to grow and move forward. Without accountability, you fall into the cycle of not quite beginning your journey because you still have some pre-work to do first.
Implementing a wellness routine is just as important for your mind as it is your body. Working off your stress with movement, putting whole and fresh foods into your body and giving your time to be quiet and sit still will serve you well no matter what journey you are on. Investing in you is the best investment you can make. Listen in as we chat about how to be accountable as well as some lessons that are vital for your success in life.
